Social Media Officer

We are looking for more people to help us run our social media on a daily basis. This will involve sharing and retweeting related stories, engaging with our followers, and developing strategy to increase our exposure and outreach.


  • Being at the forefront of BCA’s public image.

  • Learning valuable skills in social media strategy.

  • Interacting with high profile pages and public figures that share our content.


  • An ability to commit around an hour a day to keep the social media channels ticking over.

  • Strong writing skills and a creative/humorous approach to online interaction.

  • Prior experience managing a public social media page preferred, but not essential.

Graphic Designer

You will join our digital team as a primary content-creator of social media info-graphics and design projects that share our content in a fun and interactive manner. You will also work cross-departmentally to help us come up with new graphic designs for our research papers, online academy, and email content.


  • Whatever you create, our followers around the country will see and admire, giving you a huge input into our public image and creative output.

  • You will work across departments, giving you a strong insight into how BCA functions on a daily basis.


  • Proficient in Photoshop, Sketch, or Illustrator, and familiarity with Canva.

  • Strong creative and design skills.

  • Please submit a link to a brief portfolio (2 or 3 designs) with your application.


Policy Researcher

Contribute to the content coming out of our blog, by creating your very own articles and research pieces about important and ongoing environmental issues. We will also provide opportunities as they arise to be published in like-minded outlets such as the Foundation for Economic Education, 1828, Speak Freely, CapX, and more.


  • Working closely with our Editor and Research Team, this is a great opportunity to develop your writing skills.

  • Get your content published on behalf of the largest millennial, right-of-centre, environmental group in the country


  • Working knowledge of current events related to politics and environmentalism.

  • Strong language and grammar skills.

  • Insightful views that largely align with BCA’s policy platform.

  • Prior writing experience preferred (please submit 2 prior articles).

Email Marketing Strategist

This position is vital for our continued outreach and engagement with our subscribers, by curating email content on BCA’s ongoing projects. You will also contribute to the monthly newsletter that recounts the amazing successes we land each month!


  • Close collaboration with our Head of Internal Communications & Communications Director.

  • The chance to develop your writing and creative abilities.

  • Obtain valuable, transferable marketing experience.


  • Strong knowledge of MailChimp and either Canva or Photoshop (or similar platform).

  • Keen eye for compelling content and creative outlay.

  • Strong editing abilities.

  • Prior experience preferred, but not essential.


Scotland Campus Outreach Officer

We are now looking for a Campus Outreach Officer to coordinate our campus network in Scotland, growing the BCA presence at universities around the country.
